COUNTY DEVELOPMENT JUNIOR & SENIOR SQUAD

Lead Coach: Simon King

Aims of the squad: Maintain fitness, willingness to learn, good lane discipline, punctuality and respect to coaches and other volunteers on poolside. The pathway allows for a swimmer to enter the competitive pathway with swimmers targetting Sussex County entries for winter 2025 and Spring 2026.

County Development is split into 2 sub-squads, Junior Squad for swimmers under 13 years old advancing from Academy and Senior Squad for swimmers over 13 years old transitioning from County Development Junior.

Attendance and progress will be monitored by the Squad Coach and Head Coach.

Movement from this squad will be at the discretion of the coaches in discussion with the Head Coach, and will be based on technique, skill, performance, attendance and attitude to training.
