Squad Training
Since moving into K2 in November 1995 the club have used this pool for most training. We do still have some squads training at Cottesmore school in Pease Pottage. However, all squads have the opportunity to train at K2 on a Friday evening (club night) and all morning sessions along with at least one other session at K2.
The club squads are ' A' Squad through to 'E' Squad with 'A' being the top squad which includes National swimmers and a Masters Squad. Below these squads are the improvers, development and Learners classes.
We take swimmers from learners up to National level as and when we have vacancies.
We have a Head Coach who has overall responsibility for all swimmers, an assistant coach that is mainly responsible for 'B' & 'C' squads and cover when the coach is away. We are have recently added a development coach , who will be coaching the 'D' & 'E' squads, to ensure progression through the club.
