Crawley Swimming Club is proud to have successfully achieved Swim 21 'Skill Development' status. Swim 21 is awarded by the Amateur Swimming Association (swimming's governing body), to recognise that the club has achieved a set of standards that shows parents, swimmers, officials and the public that the club is caring and well organised. A number of criteria (each having many components) have been satisfied and include:
- Swimmer access to a quality programme of coaching and competition;
- Ongoing development of teachers/coaches for the befit of swimmers;
- Effective and efficient administration of the club for the benefit of swimmers. This includes an effective child protection and equality policy and criminal records checks of all involved with swimmers;
- Links with the community and other organisations in order to benefit and develop the club and it's swimming members
